lovely Germany

the keyboard is backwards and a little unorthodox to me, so excuse the sillz spellings of things, please!

Germanz is reallz lovelz and pretty and the people are friendly...but donät believe people when thez tell zou everzone speaks English...because they donät. EPSECIALLZ in Belgium. I mean...some people make it out like everyone does. And they donät. Thez speak their native language unless you speak to them in another.

So that#s that. Frankfurt is a beautiful modern and old city. Google some pics if that makes zou curious. OUr hosts are amazing. I love them both verz much.

We had Appelwein today..Frankfurtäs national wine. Kenny got a little tipsy before noon. How fun is that? I actuallz turn the drinks down because I#m not used to drinking 5 times a day. It sounds like fun, but I get too warm.

Amsterdam sure was dirty and disgusting compared to Germany. Tomorrow we are going to see Bad Homburg(bad means spa) and a castle and mountains tomorrow. We are both very, very excited.

And...I should go to bed. We walked around for 6 hours todaz. Much less than a normal day...but it was sunnzy and beautiful and that makes me tired.

We got to watch Jane Eyre in English tonight. That was wonderful.

We saw goethe's birth home today, and we saw many rebuilt churches from after all the destruction of the war. And I love public transportation here. I just reallz needed to say that. I hope we continue to have great weather. There is currentlz snow in southern germany...and it was probably 60 or 65 here. I don't know in celsius what that is.

Well...Iäm off to bed and then to the mountains. hurray. I canät wait to post pictures...thatäll be in like 15 more days! Goodnight.
