so Songs for a New World went incredibly successfully, but I'm glad that that stress is over.
I auditioned today for the AMTP - American Musical Theatre Project at Northwestern - new show called Boy in the Bubble. It's scheduled to preview on July 27th, the same weekend as Company at Primary Colours. I wrote that on my audition form and what not, just saying that auditioning for Michael Greif would be a good experience in itself and may make a cool connection while I'm at it.
But I got called back.
Needless to say it's for an ensemble that isn't yet written into the show.
I got called back by the original director of Rent...
That's slightly rediculous.
Now I don't know what to do. Going to the callback means I'd take the part, but I think it'd be horribly rude not to show up. So my plan is to go, and just let them know my predicament. Becuase I have to do Company, I've already made a commitment, and although this opportunity is awsome, there'll be more to come.
And I can't call James because it's probably too late now, maybe, and it'll be too early to call before the call-back, but there is no way I could do both and make money this summer.
AH!
Anyway, it's exciting nonetheless... I'm just confused.
PS. :D
