So this morning Brock and I woke up and met Nora at the train station. We went into Manhatten and got our tickets... then we ate at Tonic (The Met Lounge) which was fun... good prices... awesome feel... great food and a gorgeous waitress :) Anyway we went to see Avenue Q afterwards... Which is a strange but wonderful show. Notables among the cast were: Rick Lyon for his ability to portray so many different characters with such talent, Ann Harada for being hysterically funny (it takes a secure person to take that role) and Stephanie DAbruzzo for being hysterically funny throughout the entire show. Natalie Venetia Belcon played Gary Coleman and was great in the role... although she barely got by holding a note for any length of time. The sound was the only problem with the show... I couldn't hear anything at all, but it was probably because of all of the laughing audience members. I guess that alot of them have never heard the music before... because they were laughing out loud constantly. That is to be expected though... all in all it was a fun day... we found the stage door and got a few autographs as well as some funny pictures. I forced Rick Lyon to take a picture with me... and he wasn't ready... I'll find a way to post it somewhere later. :)
