Testing my new photobucket

Alex, Rachel, Jon, and I at Jon's 20th B-day. I am on the edge of the picture in my stylish Simpsons T-shirt. The shirt reads: "This is your brain on donuts. Any questions?" If you haven't seen it before. Oh, and before you ask, yes, I am that lame. I think you can pick out which person is Jon easily. He is in his characteristic "wife beater," though sans backward cap.

Another picture from the same day. Why do I always seem to hide off in the corner or behind everyone? Well, I am camera shy, but I guess that is only part of it. I don't really like being photographed happy, perhaps because I do not have occasion for it very often. Haha, I know I am lame.

Random shot of mom and Rachel from earlier this year. No comment except that Rachel looks really cute there. I love that hair thing that she has, though I do not think it shows that well here. I always read hershirts, and it gets her frustrated, but she always manages to find cute ones that are fairly normal and non-skanky, unlike her classmates. I applaud my mom for that.

As for the rest of these pictures, I have decided to showcase Brody and Speckles, as that was the main reason for digging up all of these pictures in the first place.

Rachel, Speckles and I. This is an older pic, but still a goodie. I have freaky long hair sideburns (by my standards, at least) and messed up hair, as is my trademark, I guess. Speckles is super cute there, and you can see her pattern very well. Speckles loves Christmas. She actually tries to rip open the presents with her nose, especially when they are for her. She also plays with the wrapping paper.

Speckles by the Christmas tree. At least this time she isn't sleeping under it, or attacking the decorations, or drinking the water from under the tree. I think it was a fake tree this year. We seem to have odd luck getting mentally stable animals.

Speckles EXTREME CLOSEUP!! I love the expressions she comes up with. Her face is always so animated that you can tell what she wants. She also "talks" in that she growls at different intonations and volumes and varies it to form "words" and "sentences." It is kinda hard to explain, so I do not know if i am making any sense. No, really! She does!

An older pic of Alex and Speckles. Doesn't she looks so happy there? Well, Speckles can be a nervous wreck of a dog sometimes, and though she may not look it, she loves physical contact. She gets a little weirded out when you hug her, but she always puts her head on your lap to rub behind her ears and under her chin. She really is a good dog.

Not much to say except that this is my dad, Brody, and Speckles. Their eyes make them look EVIL though. The two of them get along as well as a cat and dog could. They sniff each others' butts sometimes, and such, and lay next to each other. Speckles likes to mother him a bit though, by chasing him around when he misbehaves. On Brody's end, he likes to mess with her. He sits covertly in chairs, and when Speckles walks by, he swats at her or sneaks up on her and plays with her tail. He is a real nut.

Yet another pic of my dad and the animals. This is when Brody got the cat toy that drives him utterly insane: catnip mouse on a string like a fishing pole. I swear, he could play with that thing for hours straight, and you would get tired of it well before he ever does.

Brody is always getting into all sorts of trouble. Here he is in the groceries. He likes to climb into random things for no apparent reason, like Rachel's baby stroller, in boxes, the laundry basket, Speckles' bed, etc.

Here he is licking the drain of the bathtub! Eew! Did I mention that Brody is a nut?
