(no subject)
Just back from Lena's farewell party, she's leaving for Argentina on Sunday :-(.
I got a call from Becs at about 6ish asking me to go, and the party was at 8:30, so i just about got ready in time, hehe. Met them at Dungannon Leisure Centre and they were talking with a friend of Toddy's who was this reeeeely KAH-YUTE guy, with the best smile!
We drove over, missed our turn like 4 times, and almost went to the wrong house.
So anyway, we just sat and waited for Lena to get there and then we all yelled SURPRISE at her, cos she didn't now we were coming, and her face went as pink as the big wooly jumper she had on. They had decorated the room with 'Bon Voyage' and big blown up photos of her drunk/stoned and one of her aged, like, two, with a boys haircut and round glasses, she was so ickle!
Derbhla (i think thats spelled right) had a golden labrador called Rosy, a black cat called Oscar and Cletus, the slack-jawwed gerbil. Rosy was so luvly, she's not quite out of the cute puppy stage yet and she rested her head on my knee and it made me go 'Awwwww' cos she has such pretty bloo eyes. Oscar sat on my lap and started purring, i felt all Dr. Doolittle-ish tonite. Where was I? O yeah, i showed them all my tattoo design and they liked it and they all told me how sore it wud be (thank you) but i dont care, cos once its over thats it. Still not 100% on where to get it, cant get it on my arms or chest and i wanna be able to see it....
But back to the party, they put on Josie and the Pussycats YAY and then lots of old songs, and Derbha's Dad came in and told Lena all these stories and facts about Argentina and when he dropped his can of Tennants they let Rosy lick it up (alco dawg)
We all gave Lena big hugs before we left and wished her luck, ima gone miss her buckets!
Anyways, better get an early night, i have shopping to do tomoro. Pity Cat can't come :-(
