Lately...
It's been a while since I updated...No time i guess...well I do have SOME time, but there hasn't been anything really eventful...
Lately I've been working my ass off because I want living room furniture, i'm WELL overdue for that... So my goal is 100+ hrs on next paycheck. I will barely make it until the third of Sept. with the money i have...which I really can't touch and my credit card is almost maxed...i'm fucked. Well anyhoo...
Today I actually had the day off...however, what did I do? I worked from 9-1...Then Joey got me and we went to American Freight. I then put my beautiful sofa and loveseat on layaway and made a down payment of 100 dollars...only 536 to go. Then after we went to check out his new one bedroom apt. It was REALLY nice and i'm impressed by how sophisticated it looks. Very pristine, you wouldn't think a 18-19 year old lives there. Anyhoo, movin' on. We then went to Bed Bath and Beyond where he purchased a floral centerpiece, a faux plant, and a pitcher. Next thing to do was eat, we were starving. Sooooo he mentioned O'Charlie's, which, was a VERY nice change of menu for me. OMG you can get SOOOO much food and get filled up FAST with their stuff. Unlimited rolls which are heavenly and buttery, and then this you pick two thingie, with is like 12 bucks, but you get like to meats, i got chicken fingers, and a chicken breast, he got steak instead of the breast, and i got broccoli cheddar cassarole, and potato soup, PLUS more rolls, lol...anyhoo, it was delightful.
We then went to see World Trade Center....i dunno if i was ready or not, but it was a good movie...and it felt strange to know that I was in existence somewhere when it happened and i remembered all sorts of things from that day...3rd period theater, skipping all other classes while watching the coverage in the guidance office....my mom coming to get me out of school early out of fear....having my friends mom to tell us to lay in ditches if we see a plane....
I cried a lot.
Now i'm here...couple hours later doing not a damn thing, as i usually do....feeling restless and bored, and wishing my life were more interesting. Oh! During a preview for Marie Antoinette, i thought i saw someone i went to high school with in the movie and she had a major part, and i flipped out. My jealousy brought me back on track to my dreams and desires in life. So a fire has rekindled in me.
