A 1,761 word review of "Dareka ga Watashi ni Kisu wo Shita" in which I use the word "strange" a lot
I have to go to school tomorrow even though it's my spring break for AP Calculus. Technically I also "have" to go for AP Government but it's so early... 7:30!! No thanks. I like sleeping. I SHOULD be doing my homework right now for AP Calculus but... eh. I don't get it. ;__; I hope I don't get in trouble tomorrow ;;

but one thing i hate about movie adaptations is that I usually end up feeling like the book is better, and in this case i really don't want to feel that way but I guess I'll just have to wait and see although i might just end up liking the movie more because i'm biased |D
I definitely can't wait to see tegoshi as mirai though, will was my favorite character :)
It's hard to imagine the special effects with the photographs, but i'm looking forward to seeing that too.

Yes! I almost always feel like the book is better - though that may be because I've read the book first. I think the movie was really good but to be honest, I wonder if I'm just avoiding ripping it to shreds because I'm being biased. XD
Will was my favorite character too! Tegoshi plays a really good Mirai~ so no worries about Will not being as awesome as his novel counterpart.
You get to see it in the trailer, though it's a little different than what is usually shown.
rofl you're welcome! XD;; And the kiss? It was... SHORT. They only showed it once and... it was just short. :| The whole "realizing I'm no longer an amnesiac" scene was kind of lackluster as well. Not bad ... just, it was just like in the book. Though not in the same context, she wasn't all "OMIGAWD I REMEMBER A;KRJWKJATJ"

that's good to hear then :) I was reading reviews on yahoo though and some people were complaining about tegoshi being the big miscast role or whatever and how it was really painful watching him act...but eh, I'll have to see for myself although I'll just take your word for it :) maybe the people only felt that way too because I realized they might not have read the book so they only saw it as a movie full of idols and nothing else? idk XD
oh, so that's how it's like~ Even with the trailer I'm still having a hard time trying to imagine it /fails
I see~ I would have wanted it to be a bit more dramatic though, since I didn't really like how she all of a sudden remembered in the book, idk, that part was a bit iffy for me XD

I think it's probably the character? I think he suits more...emo roles. XD I think his acting was a bit awkward in MBMH too so it might have just been the character since he seems to do better with more serious roles? yeah, i'm not too sure but that's just what I think. AHHH I JUST WANT TO WATCH THE MOVIE ALREADY >:/
lol yeah, I'm pretty sure if I lost my memory and I suddenly remembered everything that happened like that kiss I would be a lot more shocked but eh, the book was lacking at some points but overall it was pretty good, so I guess the movie should be the same~ 8D/

Hmmm maybe. I've only seen Tegoshi in a handful of things... and he really suited [insert character's name here] from Shissou. And also when he was in Ie ga Tooi (rofl I still love how the only thing he said in the entire series was "yada!") But that's when Tegoshi was waay younger. In MBMH I thought his acting was kind of weird too, which is the reason why I didn't like his character at first. I ended up liking Sakuranantokakoji later on though after he ate the pudding. XD;; But nooo! I thought his acting was good in the movie. ): Hopefully it comes out soon! I don't know exactly if there were potential distributors in the audience but... I'm sure there was! D: They couoldn't have just done a screening simply to appease the fans, you know? :3
