Saji doesn't like pain and everyone knows it.
But sometimes Saji likes it when Klaus hurts him.
Not like that; even if Saji wanted the sort of things Lyle wants (and demands, loudly), he doesn't think Klaus would give them to him. Never on purpose.
Still, quietly and secretly, Saji likes it when Klaus hurts him. It usually means that he's gotten Klaus to forget to be careful, after all, just for a moment. Lyle chuckles and dismisses the marks as not even proper bruises, and then teaches him more about provoking people (Klaus) into pinning you to walls.

He used to like it when Setsuna hurt him. Not often; he couldn't leave marks, after all. Ali would have known. But there were ways-- he still remembers when it was just them, when Setsuna would hide his face in Saji's shoulder and press his fingers against bruises someone else had left behind.
He remembers that; being able to give that to Setsuna. He doesn't know what it was Setsuna was hiding from him, but he hopes it helped. He liked that: being able to help, and the lingering feeling afterwards, like he could pretend the marks belonged to Setsuna.

Lasse hurt Saji once, but that was an accident and mostly due to drugs and mostly funny, especially the part where Halle pretended he was mad about it. Halle has never hurt Saji, because Saji has never asked him to.

"It's fine, really." he reassures Klaus, who is fussing over a bruise Saji must have got in the shower, presumably while having sex with Klaus but as Lyle keeps pointing out when this subject comes up, if he didn't notice while it was happening it can't be that bad an injury. "I just bruise easily." Not quite as much as he used to, which Halle has put down to the proper fucking nutrition which Saji was apparently lacking earlier in life.
Klaus still looks like he wants to fuss more. "It doesn't hurt?"
"Kiss it better," Saji demands, because demanding kisses from Klaus is a good way of cheering him up. Kisses are one of the things he never feels nervous about asking for, because Klaus always likes it when he does it. "Then it'll be okay."
Klaus does, of course. Sometimes, Saji likes it when Klaus makes him better, too.
