He enters,
My stomach knots.
He smiles,
My heart melts.
He speaks,
My words falter.
He plays,
My body sways.
He sings,
My ears listen.
He sings to her,
My face cringes.
He looks at her,
My gaze stares.
He follows her,
My eyes narrow.
He writes for her,
My fist tightens.
He kisses her,
My lips twitch.
He touches her,
My body aches.
He worships her,
My blood boils.
He loves her,
My mind reels.
He mourns her,
My heart aches.
He stops,
My heart breaks.
He detaches,
My interests wander.
He opens his eyes,
But I’m already gone.
