I was reading the comments on the story and noticed that you seemed to know the author pretty well. Do you know if she is still alive. Sorry for the random question. I hope that she is okay.

As far as I know she is. She moved to...I want to say Scotland but I am not sure. I will try and check to see for sure. I know she didn't have reliable internet access. (she mentioned being in a very rural area)
