So I am over on my 'tech' board and the guys are making 'you failed your saving throw' jokes only everyone is kind of bummed. It turns out that Gary Gygax died earlier this week. I didn't realize just how old he was or that he had been ill. Now I am a little bummed. I don't play much now (having moved on to Muds) but in college we all sort of lived for game nights. I even met my husband at a game.
(Okay, okay. I met my husband during a game at my then-boyfriend's house but we always leave that part out.)
My husband and I were reminiscing and somehow Queen came up (this always happens...it must be an '80's conversation law or something)
Me - 'Hey, did you know Paul Rodgers is fronting Queen now?"
He - 'Huh? Who?"
Me - 'You know, from Bad Company"
He - "Huh?"
(So I didn't marry him for his musical knowledge...cough)
Anyway,
Even though she doesn't know me,
