Grrrar. Vista, I am totally blaming you for not being able to load any videos.
Seriously, YouTube, FOX videos, whatever - it loads the first quarter (if I'm lucky) and than it just... Stops. And I get whatever the loading symbol for the network-or-website in question is and it just keeps going and going and going.
Does this happen to anyone else? Would reducing my security settings on Firefox fix it? I'm already set at Medium Risk and I really don't want to go much lower cause then those annoying in-article links start showing up whenever the words "love" or "girls" or "weight" or the like is written.
Though I suppose it could be the wireless. Because we have actual, you know, *neighbors* now, Mandy invested in a secure wireless thingy that is password protected, but I don't know why that would have any effect on being unable to load videos.
I want Windows XP back. ::pouts::
Also, my volume "button" (I say button because there isn't actually a button, just a light that supposedly I can tap on to get my volume to go up or down) is bi-polar or something. It actually *works* maybe once out of every 10 times I try and tap it, otherwise it just ignores me and I have to go down to the system tray. Of course, I can only click on *that* once and bring the bar up or down, and then it decides not to open any time thereafter that I try and click on it.
Also, when it *is* open, my volume bar kind of... jiggles. Whether I have music playing or not, the little slider bounces in place ever so slightly, and when I *do* have music going, I can hear that little jiggle. Is it supposed to do that?
And then of course there was those one or two memorable occasions where my volume buttons were actually working, but taping the + symbol would make the volume go down and tapping the - symbol would make the volume go up.
Seriously, is my computer supposed to be this multi-personality? Jodie, you said your computer is similar to mine... Does yours do that? Cause I gotta say, it is extremely annoying.
