On Las Vegas. And a good chunk of Farscape at the end.
Dustin and I have been working our way through the Las Vegas reruns on TNT every morning. I saw most of the second through fourth seasons, but I missed quite a few here and there. I also never really saw much of season 1, and I only saw season 5 through the episodes my parents recorded on their DVR.
So, this last month or two TNT has gotten into Las Vegas season 5, so I've been playing catch-up.
* I really do like Cooper. I didn't think I would cause he replaced Casey, and I really liked Casey. But Tom Selleck pulled it off quite nicely. And I love all the random references to Hawaii and Magnum PI.
* I found Piper insanely annoying at the beginning of the season. She kind of grew on me, though. Or maybe she just got less annoying.
* Delinda looks awesome pregnant
* I miss Ed, but Danny and Mike did a pretty good job running the casino
* The Christmas Episode kicked ass
* Polly is insane. Which just makes her all the more awesome. You know, that kinda awesome where you're torn between wanting to smack her a few times for being annoying or hugging her for having the Best Lines Ever.
And lastly? The season/series finale cliff hanger just sucked. Like, maybe not the Most Annoying Season/Series finale Ever, but definitely in the top 5.
In fact, it sucked so much that I went in search of any Las Vegas news to see if the fans threw a big enough hissy fit that they got us a movie or a special episode or some such. Alas, no such luck.
However, I did find this TV News Brief in which Las Vegas producer Gary Scott Thompson is planning a cameo for Josh Duhamel (Danny) and Molly Simms (Delinda) on the new Knight Rider series scheduled to start this fall as a last ditch effort to give Las Vegas fans at least a little closure.
ALSO, the link also has a blurb about up coming Farscape webisodes. It's old - like mid April - but I figure I can't be the only one who thought said webisodes weren't happening anymore to a lack of news received on the subject over the last few years.
So, like, YAY news, old though it may be.

After a bit of searching, I also found a new article on the Farscape webseries and comic books thats only two weeks old, complete with an interview with Rockne O'Bannon (which contains rather large spoilers. Just an FYI). Even more YAY!
