(no subject)
Arrrg! I want to throw my computer across the room! But that would be cruel and unusual, especially since it totally isn't Shadowlite's fault that she's got more lag than Yao Ming. Oh, no. It is all Charter High Speed Security Suite. That's the free virus protection that Dustin gets with his wireless which I had him install today because my Avira ran out and I couldn't afford to spend another 30 bucks to renew the license. It literally takes Firefox around 5-10 minutes to load now, worse when another program like MSN is running, and heaven forbid I try and starting Semagic when anything else is already open. I'm surprised Shadowlite hasn't exploded due to over-exertion, poor girl. Luckily, Dustin has some old broken lap tops lying around, so he's going to try and give her some more ram later on tonight. Probably sooner rather than later cause, seriously, this lag is ridicules. Not even my old, ancient, 8-year-old-still-ran-on-Windows-98 desktop had lag this bad, and that's saying something.
On an entirely different note, you know how I was all frustrated in my never ending search for a cute white dressy-kinda shirt with actual sleeves? Well, I finally just gave up and made my own using a cheap white t-shirt the likes of which come two-to-three a package and a black paint pen. I am actually quite pleased with the results.
What do you think? Think there's any clothing design in my future? ;) Now I just need to do a "heat treatment" or whatever to set it into place, which I assume means run a hot iron over it a few times.
