The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was ABC's Saturday Night Movie tonight. I hadn't seen it yet, despite my YAYness when it was first advertised back in 2004ish. Extremely good movie, to the point where I probably like it better than the book. Though I imagine the fact that the movie wasn't really directed to an audience of less than 10 years old might help that fact a bit. The movie also didn't seem quite as bible-thumping underneath it all. Granted, there was still the whole sacrifice thing with Aslan, but it didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. Of course, I'm really good at ignoring what I don't want to see, so maybe that helped. ;)
Also, with the special the stars came on for some sneak peaks and what not of Prince Caspian. And I gotta say, the guy who is playing Caspian? Insanely pretty. I want one.
