Tormenting helpless creatures has never seemed a very humane thing to do, and is in fact something I would usually frown upon. However, I have to admit, that whenever I flick one of those damned annoying Asian beetles hard enough to hear it bounce off the wall on the other side of the room, I get a little thrill of satisfaction.
