Clothes, carbs, and cards! Kinda.

It took five years, but college has finally turned me into a girl. At least in the "dressing more like" sense of the word. If blue jeans, figure-fitting turtle-necks, owning and wearing a brown *and* a black leather jacket now and wearing gloves to match counts as "more girly". At least I'm not living in hoodies 24-7 anymore. More like just 12-4. And I just have to say, my new black leather jacket is hella sexy.

That said, I *really* need to start working out. In all honesty I really am eating healthier here than I would be at home, but I am getting *zero* exercise. At least when I was in St. Cloud I was walking the half-mile round trip from my dorm to my classes two or three times a day. Here? The only exercise I get is the 100 yard (give or take) walk from the science building metered parking lot up to the third floor of the science building. I'm back up to 162 weight-wise, and this time it's starting to show. I told Dustin to drag me with him to the UW fitness center once he starts going again, because despite good intentions, I highly doubt I'll ever make it there on my own.
On the plus side, though, climbing up three flights of stairs at least twice and usually more like three or four times daily is giving me some good cardio.

And lastly, still accepting addresses for my Holiday Cards fiasco. If you want one, leave your address in the screened comments of that post, or email them to me at martianmaren@gmail.com - *even* if you gave my your address last year. Once upon a time I had a notebook in which I kept everyone's addresses for holiday cards, buuut I lost it at least two years ago now. So resend your addresses. That way no only to I have an updated address, but I also know who actually *wants* a card from me. So far I only have a list of five addresses; last year I had something like 18. Come on, everyone loves holiday cards! I at least want to break even, cause the fewer unused cards I have lying around, the better. ;)
