rensong is kind of a play on my name. MaRENsong. It's also kind of a twist on wren song; a wren being this tiny little bird with a big, loud, complicated and beautiful song (you can play a sample of it on the site I linked too, but the recording really doesn't do justice. Thankfully, house wrens are common enough that I'm pretty sure most of you in North America know what I'm talking about). Now, by no means do I have any where *near* the vocal capabilities of a wren, but they are probably one of my favorite birds, and though my voice is by no means big and beautiful, I do love to sing. So, when Cristin invited me to Live Journal way back in April of 2002, rensong was the name I picked for myself.
