Sometimes the appropriate response to reality is to go insane.

My Microsoft Word is being difficult at the moment, so I'm putting the quote I want to add to it on here. So feel free to ignore the above if you so choose.
Anyway, Spring is definitely in the air. And in my eyes, throat, and nose. Ah, allergies, I have totally not missed you at all.
But! Today we broke the high temp record for this date, hitting 80 when the record was 76. It's not even April yet and it has been *80 degrees* for the past two days. Thats, like, very un-Wisconsin, but not exactly unwelcome. It has been an extremely nice two days, lots of sun and no few thunderstorms, of which the lots of sun is probably partially responsible. All of the birds are back - robin, red wing blackbird, and Dad thinks he might've saw an oriel yesterday or the day before. The frogs were singing down the road in the creek this evening when I was watching another storm build up to our southwest (nothing severe, just some heavy rain and a really impressive anvil cloud that build up in a matter of ten or fifteen minutes. No rain for us, but I imagine whoever was under aforementioned cloud got a good soaking) and there was also a bat zipping around my head for a little while, so I can only assume most of the bugs are back now, too. Wheee, spring!
Supposed to get back down to more normal temperatures over the next few days, though - 40s and 50s instead of 70s and 80s, but still! Spring! YAY Spring!
Also, I get to go see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Wednesday with Dana, so you are forewarned for possible geekage. Spring time and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! ::sings:: Who could ask for anything moooooooore.
