(no subject)
Today we drove to Eau Claire and picked up some furniture. Instead of the old, busted futon we've had in the living room for the last five years or so, we now have a grey Click-Clack sofa and love seat. They're very comfortable.
We also went to Famous Daves BBQ for lunch and met my aunt and uncle there. Food was very very good. I got roasted chicken, hot apple slices (think the stuff they put in apple pie, only bigger apple pieces), corn on the cob, and a really good cornbread muffin. And a Shirley Temple cause I wasn't paying. ;) Then we came home, set the furniture up, dragged the old futon out, watched the last half hour or so of Smallville on Fox, and then I promptly went and took a two hour nap because I've been really tired these last few days but haven't had an opportunity to catch up on some sleep. I dreamed about my parents wanting to drive six hours to Chicago so they could take my brother (Ben) and I to some sort of dinner theatre show that reminded me of Prairie Home Companion. I woke up before we ever actually got in the car and started driving, but that's the impression I was under during the dream at least.
