I'm watching the newest version of Phantom of the Opera. For the first time.

Wow, that is one hella cool version of the title song.
And that is all.
Or, well, not quite all. The rest of the all would be that I don't much like this Phantom's voice when compared to past Phantoms I've heard. I mean, the actor is doing a great job and he does have a good voice... I just don't like it. It sounds like he's singing from the throat rather than the diaphram, so his the high notes don't blend well into the lower notes and vice versa. At least that's what it sounds like to me. And I've been in choirs most my life, so I'm not *entirely* ignorant on this kind of thing. Of course, I might just be picky.
