Does anyone have the song Midnight Train to Georgia? Cause it's been stuck in my head all evening and I only know the "Midnight train to Georgia" part, so if I'm going to have it stuck in my head, it would be nice to add a few more words to it. Also, its a spiffy song. /spam
Took my PhyEd final this morning. It was very long and I'm pretty sure I got at least 5 wrong. Hopefully that's about all I got wrong cause I'll only be getting a C- when it comes to the physical testing part of the class and I need to make up for that to keep the A I currently have in there. But YAY, one final down, two to go!
Also took a math test this afternoon that I'm just praying I pass with a decent grade... Had a doctors appointment at the same time I was supposed to be taking it, so I had to take it early, which cut down on the study frenzy time I had before it, so I wasn't a confident as I would have hoped. I think I did okay, though... ::knocks on wood:: I hope I did at least.
Today was also the first check up I've had since 2002 or there abouts. This really isn't all that gory - any reference I make will probably only be one that another girl could recognize, but I'll
I made an appointment back in April some time and asked if I could get another doctor because I'm not going to be a student forever and I really felt like I should be getting out of Pediatrics with the whole, you know, not being a child anymore. I asked for a female doctor because they make you do all this *fun* female personal stuff after you hit about age 20 and things can get kinda awkward with the whole male doctor/female patient thing. I assumed, because I had asked, that I would get a female doctor, so I was a bit surprised when the nurse came in and told me about the doctor she works with and how *he* is going to be doing everything. Didn't bother me too much, though, as I really don't have any modesty issues, and the nurse was in there with us during the PAPs and Pelvic examinations. Was a bit of an "::blinks:: Well. Alrighty then." moment, though. So not what I expected, but considering the likely ratio between male and female doctors, and the *huge* amount of patients (50% or more female) our clinic serves (pretty much anyone within a 60 mile radius of Marshfield), I suppose it's to be expected. He was Indian (as in India indian) and a little hard to understand at times, but he seemed nice enough otherwise.
Tomorrow is a "study day". I have to work from 8 until 2-ish. So much for studying (not like I would have anyway, but it would have been nice to sleep in).
Have my Math 110 final on Friday. (Yeah, I know, how sucky is that? Two math tests in three days.) I've gotten all A's except for one B- I got on a test in that class, so I think I'm safe, but it's still kind of nerve wracking. I would love to have a GPA of 3.5 or more for my last semester at the University of Marshfield/Wood County.
