God, I am in such Bitch mode today. So, yeah... apologies to anyone who happens to run across my path. Am home now, so most should be safe, but I already chewed the hell out of a friend of mine in a nasty email and growled at the kids in my Anth 102 class for being, well... kids. Usually their childish note-passing and playing with the mics before class (it's a long-distance class, so if the professor notices anything on camera from his class room at UW Rock county, well... he's never mentioned anything) don't bother me, but today they were just annoying. The mics are off unless we turn them on to ask/answer a question, so he (hopefully) never notices the excess talking and giggling as three of the other kids in the class throw crumpled notes at each other or send text messages via their cell phones across the room, but god... Just grow up already! Damn kids (or, well.. freshman at least).
I think I managed to be polite and friendly at work, though... Of course, that might be because of the hot chocolate and chocolate cookies that Kim had sitting out for everyone who wandered in. Who needs Midoel when you have chocolate! It was also nice that she let me go early. It wasn't too busy, so I only had to work two and a half hours instead of the normal 4 or 5. Getting home before dark when roads are a bit untrustworthy is always a good cheer-me-up, too.
Still in bitch mode, but at least the capitol B is gone.
Also, I have holiday cards all written and waiting to be stamped and mailed for: Verena, Jennifer, Leo, Emma, Katie, Emmies, Trisha, Dawn, John, Nicole, Carla, Vaidah, Kate, and Becca. Still have lots left if anyone else wants one, even if you aren't sending any of your own out in return. :) I'll screen comments in this post if someone wants to add their address last minute.
