(no subject)
::whines:: It's hoooooooooot. This "one of the hottest summers on record" thing? *Not* fun. Last year, we had maybe 5 total days with 90+ heat, 7 at the most, and all those were scattered through out the summer. This year? I think we're up to something like 17 already, and it's only the beginning of August. That Germany trip is looking better and better every minute. (though with my luck, the heat will just follow me or something.)
In other news, I mixed up my schedule. I worked from 1 until 3 when I was *supposed* to work 4 until 6:30. Woops? Called Brent and asked him if he wanted me to come in still (I got home at about 4:30, half an hour *after* my shift was supposed to start), and he's like "Nah, if you're home already, don't worry about it. I don't want to make you drive another half hour to get back to town." and took the rest of the shift for me. YAY for nice supervisors!
Though, if it were anyone else, I'm not sure he would be as forgiving. Sometimes having an almost perfect 5 year record comes in handy! (I was late once when I forgot I worked the 8-12 shift, and ended up sleeping in. Otherwise, I'm always on time or I always call a head to tell them I'm running a bit late.)
