History paper is done. It sucks, but it's done, and I think I can afford one crappy grade (or at least I hope I can). Kliman is probably gonna be annoyed with me when he finally reads it because it's gonna be so much less than what I imagine he would expect from me on the issue (the issue being the controversy surrounding Powers Bluff, and as my father is right smack dab in the center of that controversy and he taught the class that were supposed to be analyzing, well... you do the math), but I guess I'll just have to live with his disappointment (and yes, I am aware this makes me sound like a total suck up/kiss ass/whatever the hell you wanna call it, but dude... this man has been one of my dad's best friends for years, so I've gotten to know him quite well through my parents, and he's probably picked up a few things about me here and there, too, so you can understand how his approval means more to me than the approval of most other teachers might). It's one paper. He'll get over it, and so will I, especially since I've done so well in his class otherwise. He might also be more lenient on this paper because it's the last paper of the semester, and since he's worked in teaching for like 15 years, he probably knows that end of the semester? Papers might not be the highest quality due to the student stress and/or lazy factor.
Besides, he's currently in Poland. He won't even read my paper until June, and by that time I imagine he'll simply be so happy to be back home that papers his students wrote a month and a half ago won't seem half as important as they might have appeared two weeks ago.
