Huh. According to the Weather Channel, Las Vegas is currently buried under a foot of snow. How's that working out for you, Cristin? ;D
It's always so much fun to see how people in those southern states react to snow... In the past five minutes? I've heard the weather anchor tell everyone in the Las Vegas area to wear sunglasses like three times because "it is going to be brutal." Yes, it's snow. Yes, it's white, and yes, sunlight can seem rather bright reflecting off the surface, but dude... I managed to survive the entire winter (minus the last week or two) without wearing sun glasses to work/school, and that requires me to drive into the rising sun on most occasions. Yes, it's a little blinding at first, but you're eyes will adjust after a few minutes. It's not the end of the world.
The "state of emergency" thing I can understand - seeing as you all down there have no way to deal with winter weather - but I still find it amusing. Cristin! You can make a snowman! YAY snowmen! :D
On an entirely different not, I haven't read my LJ in like three days. Might take me a bit to catch up, but next week is spring break, so I should eventually. Just gimme a few days.
