/random Sliders kinda-flashback
Just got done with ENG 242 - American Indians in Literature and Film. The class is loooooooong (2 and a half hours), but I think it should be really interesting. There are like four books we're supposed to read for the class - the only one of which I can think of at the moment being Little House on the Prarie by Laura Englse Wilder (only spelled right) - which kinda sucks as I already have a shit load of History books too read, but at least these sound interesting (which is more then I can say for the history books. I've already read parts of them and found myself rather hard pressed to stay awake), so YAY for interesting books! There's also gonna be a new essay due every week giving a summary and review of all those readings we're supposed to read (there are more shorter readings on Electronic Reserve in the library), so that might prove a bit difficult to keep up with, but I figure if I could survive the weekly boring as hell essays in English 102 last year, I should be able to handle it. Or, at least I hope I will be. Only thing I gotta avoid is the whole pushing the reading/writing off until last minute, as the class only meets once a week and Procrastination and I have been boinking each other since puberty (and before that we were best of friends. :D )
