I just spent the better part of two days reliving my childhood as I was lucky enough to find a link to an online version of
The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett in Cristin's live journal. Tis a far cry from the complicated fantasy-ish dramas that I tend to prefer these days, but it was still fun to reread the story. There are also a whole bunch of other classic
stories you can read on line linked in that website, which for a book lover like myself is a very happy thing. :D Whee! More stuff to distract me from my homework! :)
On a totally different note, I have a little owwie hang-nail sorta thing on my finger that is making itself known in more ways then one. It's getting snagged on everything (band-aid came off last time I washed my hands and I don't have another one to replace it), and it's also making the entire rest of my finger really warm, which feels kinda weird since - due to my crappy circulation - my hands are generally rather cool to the touch. So, I have one finger that's all warm and feaverish (yes, I know. I have every intension of slathering aforementioned owwie with Neosporin as soon as I get home) and stuff while the rest of my hand is cold. Tis a strange feeling.
