Work was... well, something of a challenge since the small pool was closed and that meant that we had *all* of Kids Korner in the big pool for two hours, and that's a lot of kids. If I had a nickle for every time I screamed "WALK!" or "GET *OFF* THE LANE LINE!", I would be a few hundred bucks richer at the moment. Oy, it was much with the not being fun.
And the best part? The small pool is probably gonna *stay* closed for awhile. Why, you ask? Because part of the ceiling fell down. A very very large part of the ceiling. A very very large part of the ceiling that I would have been standing under had it not happened before I got there. So, yeah, that's just a little bit freaky to think about. I think it fell sometime last night, thankfully, when the Y was closed and there wasn't anyone in there to get hurt. I only hope this convinces Big Boss to get his head out of his ass and look around to see how desperately his building is in need of repair. If he can afford a bloody $45,000 water slide that nobody wanted by him (seriously... there isn't a day that goes by where I don't hear -- or hear about -- at least one complaint about the stupid slide from a patron), he should bloody be able to afford some of the desperately needed repairs around the building!

On a totally different note, I'm a bit behind on my friends list. Will try to catch up before I head out for the wedding.
