(no subject)
YAY! I have my internet back! Have been off-line since Saturday night due to the TDS thinking my dad's credit card had expired when in fact it doesn't expire until next month. But, hey, I have my internet now and that's all that matters. :) But, dude, I was doing so well in the whole catching up thing! I was all the way up to skip=250! Now I bet I'm back in the skip=400-something. ::sighs::
In other news, I'm attempting to write something of a sequel to Happily Didn't Last Ever After, and I would like to get some insight from you all to help me write it. If it wouldn't be too much to ask, I would like to know what some of your fondest childhood memories are. If it involves parental figures, that would be great, but if it doesn't, that's fine too. I'm trying to do a sorta flash back type thing, but I'm coming up short on ideas. If you wouldn't mind leaving me a comment (or sending me an e-mail at martian_maren@hotmail.com) in this area, I would greatly appreciate it. It can be anything - family vacations or gatherings, spending a week or a weekend with your best friend(s), some kind of road trip, playing outside in the summer and catching fire flies, playing in the mud, *anything* goes - and go into as much detail as possible (though feel free to leave names out if you so choose). Any kind of feedback on this subject would be great, and who knows... maybe you'll see some of your stories come to life should I ever actually finish the thing. :)
Also, if you want to go a step further (and this is *only* if you want too, I won't push if you don't), if you want to write about some of your unhappiest memories, I'll take those too. I'm trying to get a mix of happy and sad memories for the whole flash back thing, but I'll completely understand if you don't want to go into the whole unhappy part.
