(no subject)
Am typing up the first part of Chapter 10 from the 10th Kingdom in a word document because I hope to use it for my Oral Interpretation assignment/presentation I have schedualed for March 3. I only hope 3 pages typed up in 12 pt font, when read out loud, will be long enough to fit into the 6-8 minute time slot which this presentation has to be. At the moment I'm thinking it might be kinda short, but hopefully I can draw it out a bit.
This is one of my favorite books ever, and anyone who loved the old Grimm fairytails should read it, because dude, it rocks. It's actually a kinda sequal to the aforementioned fariytales, set 200 years past the time when the origionals are considered to take place. "Happy Ever After didn't last quite as long as we hoped..." pretty much sums it up. Just, dude, it's a must read. The movie/mini series that came out a few years ago kicked ass, and acctually stuck pretty close to the book, but the book is always better. So, yeah, next time ya'll get the chance, read it... You won't be sorry, I promise. :)
