Dude! WKRP in Cincinnati is on TV Land! Schweet!
Making pretty good head way on my research paper. Got the history of Powers Bluff part of it done, and hope to finish the dog search part by tonight, leaving the rare plants and herbs/marker trees and vortex stuff for tomorrow. Also have to come up with a nice intro and conclusion, but I figure I can do that wait since it's not really needed until I finish the main stuff anyways.
Walked down to Gramma's to visit a little, helped her fold up some of Grampa's shirts and stuff to send off to Good Will or some other used clothing store. She's lonely, but I think she's doing okay. I mean, she keeps herself busy with Gramma stuff, like going out to lunch with some of her water aerobics friends and all sorts of running around. She's thinking about getting an apartment in Marshfield so she won't be so far out of town. Like me, she doesn't like being a bother to anyone should she need a ride somewhere or need some groceries she forgot to get. Of course we tell her that she's no bother, that we actually *enjoy* keeping her company and driving her around, but stubbornness runs in the family, and I imagine a majority of it comes from her genes...:D But, twas nice chatting. I likes talking to my Gramma, and she always tries to give you food when anyone drops by for a visit... and she has nummy food, so who am I to say no? :D I'll miss her if she moves to town, but I understand where she's coming from.
Also? It's deer hunting season in Wisconsin... code for "Let's give big firearms to all those drunken farmers and see how many we can weed out of the gene pool in two weeks!" Okay, so more deer are hit then people, but I have yet to hear of a deer hunting season where there hasn't been at least a dozen causalities. Watch Maren layer on the blaze orange in to get the mail and tie a red bandanna around Nine's neck in hopes the dog won't be mistaken for a short, black, really furry deer (which, ya know, when intoxicated, might not seem such a stretch.)
Otherwise, still feel icky... stupid cold.
And mom is using smelly potent cleaning stuff to clean house as well, which isn't helping the sneezing situation much...::wrinkles nose and goes to get another kleenx::
