Coooooold...
Good ol' Marshfield got up to the toasty temp of a whole 40 degrees F today! It's currently all of 65 in here, which wouldn't be so bad if I had some nice sunshine to sit in,. But alas, the sun hath gone behind thine canopy of grey clouds, and decided not to make much of an appearance today. So, we have damp and cloudy and kinda windy - clouds+wet+wind=COLD! ::shivers:: My hands are like ice cubes and my feet aren't too far behind, even though I'm wearing socks and two layers of cloths on my upper body. Pesky Old Man Winter is right around the corner, and all evidence is pointing to him being rather crabby this year. But, such is life, and I have to admit I have been missing the snow. It's the damp that I could do without.
And, in other news... Got my first paper for English back today. YAY getting an A-! Buuut, to darken the yayness a bit, I already have *another* boring English essay due Thursday, one which I haven't even started yet. Fun. I mean, I'm glad that my score on the placement test was enough to get me into English 102 even though I am only a lowly freshman, but would it kill the teacher to toss in a few creative writing projects here and there between the weekly essays? ::sighs::
And... um... I think that's about it. Here ends this episode of Ranting by Maren. Stay tuned for possible Charmed Season Premier Ramblings later tonight! ('possible' being the operative word there... Depends on how tired I am :) )
Gonna go back to avoiding my algebra homework now... Any good television on Tuesday nights on channels I actually *get*?
