(no subject)
Long day. Very very long. Way longer then it should've been. Why? Cause I got up at 7:30 this morning only to have my mom tell me "You're subbing lifeguarding for Debi tonight 4 to 6:30." And, since Dad refused to make more then one trek into town today, and I got done at noon with classes, I spent from 12:30 - 4 sitting at the YMCA doing homework, mostly reading a really boring history chapter in my text book. So, I left at 20 after 8 this morning, didn't get home until 20 after 8 this evening. Fun fun fun! Not.
Aaand, to make matters worse, I felt like crap this morning. Woke up with an upset stomach that didn't go away until around 10:30 and I was so bone tired I had trouble keeping my eyes open in Geography class, which is usually the class I enjoy the most. And, on top of all that, I got my algebra test back this morning, one I had thought I did pretty damn good on, at least enough to get a B... Only to find after grabbing it off of Mrs. Cain's desk that I had a D-. All in all, it was a very shitty morning, not made any nicer by the fact that I think I'm getting sick and therefore my throat was a lot more sensitive to the cold and the damp weather today...
I'm used to bearing the weight of the world on my shoulders. It's okay, they're strong... But some days... Some days there's only so much before I'm ready to crumble beneath it...
