So amazing that I am posting it here so I can find it again easier than I can sharing it on Facebook. I'm also extremely tempted to see if I can download it to my hard drive so I will have it forever and ever amen.
I wondered that myself. I figure either doggy Toto was on loan and only available/behaved for the first part of the video, or Dorothy just didn't want to juggle both a basket AND a squirmy dog while she danced down the yellow brick road and into the emerald city. I can't imagine it would be easy to dance, sing/lipsync, and "act" (in parenthesis not to be mocking, simply because it wasn't acting so much as making an awesome music video) out an entire movie in six and a half minutes with both arms full.
Or, more likely, they were trying to make sure all 6 band members had a part to play.
