I totally wasn't planning on going grocery shopping hungry. Really, I ate breakfast and even had a bonus muffin as I was walking out the door, and everything was going just dandy (quick run to Walmart for a return, then hit the grocery store for coffee and bagels since Wally World doesn't have any of the brands I like) until I noticed my purse was getting awful heavy - turns out I had like four dollars worth of loose change clanging around on the bottom of it - and I still didn't have a change jar set up, so I decided to go to Goodwill for a cheap vase to remedy that.

An hour and half later, I left Goodwill with a new blouse (though in my defense, I have been looking for more short sleeved summer button-up shirts for awhile now) and old wine bottle (picked out last minute) and didn't actually get to the grocery store until 2:30 or so, at which point my breakfast was four and a half hours in the past. So bagels and coffee turned into bagels and coffee and "Ooo, Cheetoes are on sale!" and "Nice, donut peaches are only $2.99 a pound, don't mind if I do" (Cashier: "Have you ever actually tried these donut peaches?" Me: "Ooooh yeah, I lived in Washington where they grow for awhile. It's like biting into sunshine!") and "I think I'll have a nice big salad for lunch" and three Smart One's microwave breakfasts.

Best laid plans and all that... ::sigh::

Also, I'm totally not allowed to spend any money for the next week and a half.

spam, shopping, food
