Really, guys... you don't want the guy to know you're suspicious of him, and yet the very first thing you do is send Ryan and Espo - at least one of whom was there when Beckett cold-clocked the guy - to "ask a few questions." And while asking said questions (which weren't the least bit subtle, by the way), you don't even try to play it non-nonchalant and instead all but accuse the guy of having an affair with the victim?
Smooth police work there, boys. No way he'll figure out what you're up to. /sarcasm
Kind of meh on the episode. Didn't hate it, didn't love it. It's kind of one of those "been here, seen this already" sort of things with the dirty politician continuing to get away with murder (Dead Zone, mid-series Stargate SG-1, the last hour or so of RED - and those are just the ones I can name right off the top of my head). I suppose they had to focus on some long plot now that the UST isn't an issue anymore, but dirty politics wouldn't have been my first choice.
