It's October!
Soooo... Anyone have any ideas on what I should be for Halloween?
2007 I was Artemis
(I was going for "proud and strong", and ended up more "grumpy", but the costume is what counts anyway, not the facial expression. ;) )
2008-2010 I was Abby from NCIS

And last year I was a western something-or-another/Marty from Back to the Future.
All of these were created using mostly clothes and accessories I already had and, thus, didn't cost me much (the only exception being Abby's "lab coat", which is in reality a crazy over sized mens button up shirt that I forked over $21 for under the assumption that I could try and return it after the holiday... except then I spilled ranch dressing on it, and I used a regular old pen to draw the spiderweb tattoo on my neck, which in turn stained the collar slightly where it rubbed. So I've been using it as a "lab coat" ever since, alas).
Clothes horse I am not, so my options are kind of limited. I was thinking maybe a sexy librarian - then all I would need are some fake eye glasses and a satchel of books. Very, very slim chance I could pull off an autumn nymph, too, provided I can find some nifty leaves garland and fake tattoos (and maybe get wowomom to make me a gauzy skirt in layers of amber, brown, or gold. ;) ). Or I could throw on a bunch of black and go as a vampire, but that's so unoriginal.
So... suggestions anyone?
