While wandering through some of my old .doc files from one or two computers ago, I ran across this little gem between myself and
wowomom.
Me: “I was considering posting a classified ad in the newspaper or something to the likes of ‘Wanted - single male 25-35 years old with a background in auto mechanics to help fix and maintain my 1996 Geo Tracker. Must be willing to be jumped at least once a month and used for sexual release.’”
Emma: “Just make sure you ask for qualifications as far as the Geo goes. Don't want shoddy work done on the car. ;-) And while you're at it you might as well ask for past lover references too. Make sure the whole package (rim-shot!) is good.”
Not entirely sure what we were talking about to merit such a back-and-forth - I think it was either a dream I had, or possibly when I first decided to give online dating a chance. Or something entirely different... We've known each other for half our lives (HALF OUR LIVES, EMMA!) and this is actually pretty typical for the conversations we end up having.
No, wait...that's not entirely true. We're usually way worse.
