Had a rather fun day. Braved the wintry roads and subzero windchills to go to Point with my friend Katie and wander around Schmeeckle Reserve, where we saw lots of deer and happily DID NOT fall on our asses despite the trails being mostly snow-covered ice. Then we went to the little Natural History museum at UWSP to warm up, followed by an awesome lunch at the Wooden Chair (mmm, soup an sandwiches with sprouts). Then we hit ShopKo, where she got a super cool purple hat and I successfully replaced my favorite belt, hurray! (the original of which I lost somewhere several months ago) before heading back to home around 2ish because Katie had to work at 3:15.
So, yes, awesome day.
