Wow, confusing dreams.
First one I was just trying to get into the movie theater to watch a movie, but no where I looked, I couldn't find the ticket desk to get the ticket ahead of time (the line was at least a few blocks long, complete with obsessive, costumed fans). Then, when the line started moving, I got in and managed to locate the ticket desk, but all of a sudden I couldn't remember the name of he movie I wanted to see. The girl behind the counter kept asking leading questions - all the while looking at me like I was kind of crazy - and then she lifted up a magazine or brochure to see what else was playing, and the movie I wanted to see was right on the cover. "There," I told her, "those guys are in the movie I want to see", and one of the costumed/obsessed movie kids who just happened to be standing behind me asked all plaintively "What? How are they in the movie!?", so the girl behind the counter gave me a dirty look and went off to console the poor, accidentally spoiled kid, and left me with the other desk worker.
She rung up my ticket, and then when I tried to pay for it, she went "Do you know your card expires today?" She hands me back my credit card, when I could've sworn I handed her my debit card - one is black, the other is green... Kinda hard to mess up yes? Anyway, then she went through this whole process of something to re-enable my card, and finally gave me my ticket, but then she refused to tell me which theater the movie was in beyond "you'll go down four stairs". It was a rather huge theater, and there were many theaters down after those four stairs, and none of them were labeled with the movie they were playing. Needless to say, I guessed the wrong one, but again with the confusion because it took me about twenty minutes to figure this out, despite the fact that the movie I wanted to see was a cartoon, and this was live-action (something about a trailer-trash blond getting turned into a Superhero, unwillingly if the crazy scientists and the scary metal chair she was strapped into were anything to judge by). I get up to go to attempt to find the right theater again, only when I walk out, I realize that I don't have my jacket or my purse, even though I know i grabbed them when I stood up. So I go back and grab my jacket and my purse, only now there are also various random items (my stuffed snake, a few bits of jewelery and some clothes - all stuff I doubt I would carry around with me for anything) from my room draped all damp and bedraggled over the back of the chairs in front of me, and it didn't appear I was in a theater anymore.
I grabbed my stuff, and then I was walking down a street trying to find my car, and then the street changed, so I went back the direction I had come because holy cow, disorienting, but that changed too. Each time something changed, my head would feel all foggy and strange, and I remember thinking "Is this what going crazy feels like?" and wondering if someone was messing with my head. Thankfully I woke up after that.
In other news, last day of work! Told my boss I was only going to work part of the day, so I decided to sleep in a bit and shoot to arrive at work around 8:00ish instead of the usual 7:00. Still have a handful of things to do, but I think I'll probably be out of there just before or just after lunch. Only problem I foresee is that my boss isn't actually working today, and I need him to sign my final time logs to send back to the SCA. I'll have to call them (the SCA) and ask if it is okay if the guy immediately below bossman on the boss-ladder will be okay to sign them instead.
