America's Healthiest and Unhealthiest States. Hm. Tennessee is # 44. Not so good. :-(

But my old home state of Minnesota is #6! Yay! :-)

Honestly, when I saw where Minn was on the list, the first thing that popped into my head was 'I betcha Emma will be happy about that!'

Ya know, despite our desire for beer, cheese, and processed meats Midwesterners really are a pretty healthy group of people.

There are less people who smoke.
If we're having something to drink it's usually a glass of wine with dinner or a beer afterwords rather than drinking to get drunk.
Where are some of the top hospitals in the world located? In the Midwest
And mainly, it takes some real dedication going for your 3 mile run when it's -15* outside.
