These first few were taking over the course of a week or so, the most recent images being taken probably last week sometime, with the earliest taken over the last few days of September
All of the rest of these were taken either yesterday evening (10/9) or today at some point (10/10). Most of them were also taken out the front and side windows of a moving vehicle, hence the motion artifact.
Possibly my favorite of this batch. Massive motion artifact, but face it, that reflection is pretty damned cool.
These are taken while walking down the road where our family home is
Pretty tree
Same tree, different direction
Kind of hard to see, but on the far right is a cute little channel that was carved by a cute little stream. There is water in there... somewhere.
Tiny little creek across the road from the tiny little stream you can almost see in the picture above. Unless it's really dry, there's usually visible water on this side all year. Or ice, depending on the season.
Haley's dog, Abby.
Two of the stray kittens (though they are pretty much full grown at this point) who have attached themselves to my parents' house. Sweet Pea (front) is well named - she loves attention and is usually even game for a short snuggle. She also tries to sneak into the house on a regular basis (and has succeeded numerous times). Beard (back) is still a bit shy of humans, but will occasionally let us get close enough for a scratch behind the ears.
Tomorrow I need to study for my Remote Sensing test and start on my poster for the geology conference. After I sleep in.
