Arrrg!

I pushed off my rush to graduate cause I really wanted to take Geomorphology this coming fall (last fall the teacher who was supposed to teach it wasn't there, and I didn't like the one who took her place. Also, it would mean my Wednesdays were even *longer* last semester - remember me complaining about 10 hours of back to back classes? - which I very much did not need) and it turns out I *still* can't take it cause it interferes with two of the classes I absolutely have to have and couldn't take any sooner cause I was in the the pre-req classes for these classes I absolutely positively have to take last semester, and this semester the prof that teaches one of them is on sabbatical and I didn't need the other class as a Physical Geography major but I do need it as a Geo Science major. Humph.

Now I go pout.

::pouts::

On that same note, I am all signed up for classes for fall. 12 credits - Structural Geology (one of the classes I absolutely need to take), Remote Sensing II (other class I absolutely need), Rock Climbing (my one credit of wellness which I also absolutely need, though there are other choices at least if for some reason Rock Climbing doesn't work out), and... Chem 106 (Blecky!).

Though I technically don't need Chem, it is 5 credits (and also the second part of the chem class I'm currently in) and the only way I can be a full time student (cause those 5 credits bring me just up to 12 total) with a class that is actually useful to my transcripts and hopes to go to grad school one day.

On the other hand, my favorite professor is teaching a Dendrochronology (analyzing tree rings) class aimed specifically toward Geoscience majors that I also really want to take, too, but that one is only three credits, which means I wouldn't be a full time student anymore if I took it instead of Chem. Given the opportunity, though, I think I'll snatch up that one and boot Chem 106, full time status be damned. Since next semester is hopefully the last semester before I graduate, it might be nice not being a full time student for once. I only hesitate because not being full time means I won't get nearly as much Financial Aid, and that would suck.

Though, you know... If I could find an internship of some sort, I'm pretty sure that could be directed toward my credit number... I will definitely have to look into that.

registration, classes, woe
