Kate and Di, I got your cards! Thanks so much! I wanna take apart the one you gave me, Kate, to see how to make those darned origami cranes. I can make a goose, and thats about it. ;) Di, your music CD is currently ripping on my computer so I can add it all to my Christmas Music folder and have even *more* holiday music to listen to religiously starting a month and a half before Christmas. ;) Thanks again, guys! You rock.
I got to play in the diiiiiirt! Well, sand, which is a kind of dirt. We got some awesome stream channels forming with the streamtable that we had running over night for Sedimentology. Alas, since we were using just sand, there wasn't a lot of layering. It was still really cool to look at how the streams carved their own channels and meandered all over the place, though. And when all the slicing and analyzing was done, I made a sand castle. It was fun. Wheee, playing in the dirt!
Remote Sensing I is officially over. All thats left is a final on Tuesday, and then it's done for the semester since Larsen is heading off early for a sabbatical in New Zealand studying the some sort of really big birds. Yay for one less class Tuesday-Thursdays!
And I'm going to stop rambling now.
