Mandy got some Japanese?-type snacks at Walmart when she went on her Mad Shopping Spree a week or so ago. They are purplish, rectangular, and squishy in a kind of gel-like way ("kinda" that involves a lot of imagination) with a purple past-like stuff in the middle, and they taste almost exactly like raw sugar cookie dough, only not quite as sweet. I've had three, and I really wish I knew what they were called, but alas, the label was in Japanese.
She also got another type of the same thing, this time with a whiteish clearish outside covered in sesame and poppy seeds, and a chocolate-kind of paste in the middle. They are also very tasty, but again at the not knowing what they're called. Woe.
Also, yesterday I made beef stew out of the left over pot roast and veggies from Monday. It was very very good, and after boiling on the stove at low heat for an additional hour, the meat was all tender and tasty instead of tough and not as tasty. Must love Slow Cooking.
