goddamn telus store
so I take my phone in to get repaired today. The salesman scans the phone into the computer and "this phone isn't in our database" WTF! so I told him that I had all of my recipts and paperwork with me and I proceed to take it out. he then tells me that the serial code on the phone and the recipt don't match and he begins grilling me with questions about if I'm sure that this is my phone and that he has to talk to his manager. WTF! so then I see him on the phone and I'm left standing there for probably close to 10 minutes and I start to think what is going on and my head starts to sweat and I think oh great now I'm sweating and he'll think I'm trying to pull a fast one on him. He eventually comes over and says that when my phone was entered into the database the salesperson put an extra 1 in and that there was no problem he'd send my phone away and I could get a loner BUTTTT.......... their system is down right now but should be back up in a half hour. So I grab some lunch and then wander around the mall for over an hour and go back. System's still not up. So now I have to go back and do it all over again tomorrow. good grief
