Obsessions and news...
So, life has been busy.
Work is insane...social life is insane...but I did manage to get my butt in gear and actually book someone to come and clean our condo on a regular basis (gasp!)...I'm giving it a trial run over the next two months and if it goes well our condo will actually be clean when Edo and I are both in school and working full time in the Fall.
My e-mail and facebook messages are completely out-of-control. My apologies to anyone who may have messaged me and I have not responded to. I will try to dig out as quickly as possible.
Last night I went and saw Retrocity and Cadence at the Lula Lounge. It was an awesome show and awesome company. Taavi, Nic, Kirsten and Will made it...the place was packed and the crowd was good. I was very impressed...and I don't impress easily! Yes, I am a vocal music snob. And, as if my a cappella obsession wasn't overwhelming enough after having discovered Van Canto a couple of weeks ago...now it is back full force (for which I am completely holding Lanie responsible!) I am actually contemplating starting to write...or at least arrange again...and if the new choir...nicknamed the OK Chorale until we come up with another name...doesn't work out...I am going to be incredible devastated!
Ed also managed to book a number of Summerlicious restaurants for us too...Yay summer!
...any tenors or high baris out there looking for a just-for-fun, a cappella group to sing with?
