Deltora Quest Dub
After a week of trying we were finally able to watch the first two eps of the English dub of the Deltora Quest anime today. And we did it on Cartoon Network Australia's website, so it must not have been region locking that was the problem. Always nice to be able to go the official route! XD
My husband and I enjoyed the eps a lot. The music has been changed and some scenes in the first episode were moved around, but we had already been warned about it so it didn't get hung up on it. And I can't think of any parts off the top of my head that were actually taken out completely, which helped to soften the blow even more. All of the voices were at least tolerable. And the banter was fun. So all in all I'd call it a win! It definitely could have turned out far, far worse.
Though the tv broadcast isn't actually going to start until May, once it does they'll be playing multiple episodes a week. By the time June rolls around they will have already surpassed the available subs. And I heard somewhere that the first DVD comes out in June. So it's gonna be a Deltora summer! XD
