bird is THE word.
Andrew Bird more than rocked my socks off last night. It was pretty much the music experience of my lifetime, to date at least. The show was also one of the most awesome 2 hours of my life, generally speaking (counting experiences/hours beyond the musical realm).
Oh my.
I cleaned my entire house today. ENTIRE. My father and I more-or-less finished installing a different light in my dining area/entrance, so at least my house is kind of back in "order". Also, since the weather has been the fantasticsauce I kept all of the windows fully open, and my balcony door, to get some delicious fresh air in, and get the lingering-sickness-for-the-past-two-months OUT.
The outside is now inside, and I love love love it. I also did all of my laundry, and hung a bunch outside to dry = eco-friendly and smells wonderful. Yays.
I'm exhausted, from not getting enough sleep/rest the past two nights (and days). I will sleep marvelously tonight, I imagine, and start a new week at work/play/Sierra Club, fresh, tomorrow. Or so I hope.
My house and clothes and self will be fresh, at least. Even baby MacBook got a good cleaning with the all-important MagicEraser today. Woohoo!

I waited 7 years for Mr. Bird to return to New Orleans (well, I've been a fan about 5 years..). It was so so so worth it! I might drive to Oxford, Mississippi (~6 hours) to see him perform again before he leaves the South, provided I can acquire tickets. :)
